PTO EVENT - 2nd ANNUAL CHILI COOK OFF
WHEN: Friday, November 16th 11:30am-1pm.
WHAT: HHS teachers and staff will sample and vote on their favorite chili and the winner will be selected by the ballots. Tasters will be voting on taste, color, aroma, and aftertaste. HHS teachers had a great time last year so help us make this year even better!
WHY: Proceeds of this fabulous HHS PTO fundraiser will benefit a grant for a lucky HHS organization!
BUT...
We still need Competitors to sign up to bring a batch of their favorite chili in a 2-3 quart crockpot and compete for the cash prize and bragging rights! (*There is a $25 entry fee for competitors-checks can be made payable to HHS PTO.)
We are also in need ofVolunteers to supply some of our “side fixin’s†like sour cream, shredded cheese, cornbread and water bottles. Volunteers can sign up via the HHS PTO member portal or contact Megan Wyatt, Hospitality Co-Chair, (mugsyw@mac.com/205-807-3755) for more information.
The PTO will supply small cups and tasting spoons. All other items, including Chili, should be delivered to HHS by 10:30am on Friday.
