Looking Ahead ***GRADE-LEVEL ANNOUNCEMENTS*** 11th - DEADLINE March 18th to register for this event!!! - Jacksonville State University will host its 18th Annual Emerging Leaders’ Day on April 4th, 2019. Students will hear from a nationally-recognized motivational speaker, participate in leadership activities and speak with JSU student leaders about college life. There will be a chance to earn prizes, as well as a scholarship giveaway for the JSU’s Emerging Leaders' Scholarship for the 2020-21 academic year. Homewood High School can nominate two Juniors (Class of 2020 to attend with an excused school event absence. With a size of only 8.36 sq miles, that makes our fair city the 2nd most densely populated city in Alabama! (Behind Fairfield. Because. Curious.) SOMETHING YOU PERHAPS DID KNOW: We are going nowhere fast on this construction thing. Mother Nature is not cooperating.
