FRIDAY thru SUNDAY - "Our Time" is a grief-support retreat for 6th-12th graders and their adult caregiver. A free resource for students and their caregivers who are healing from the loss of a significant person, such as a parent or special friend. This is a collaboration between Camp McDowell, UAB Pastoral Care department, and Ackerson & Associates. See HERE and HERE for additional information.

Looking Ahead

TUES, Mar 12 - 5:30-8pm, Harmless vs Hazardous: Promoting Teen Health.Seminar with sessions on prescription medication abuse, vaping, and warning signs & resources, sponsored by Safe & Healthy Homewood, All In Mountain Brook, Jeff Co Dept of Health, and others. Keynote speaker is Lauren Sisler, sports broadcaster with ESPN, who lost both of her parents to addiction.
Through the End of March - The Menagerie, the school's literary arts magazine, is taking submissions. Students should ask their English teachers for submission forms.
