*Homecoming Week Activities*

ALL WEEK
- Homecoming t-shirts paid for at registration can be picked up outside Mrs. Kreider's room (241 in the English pod) during 5th period. Students can also purchase shirts during this time.
- Homecoming dance tickets can be purchased for $5 each, also outside Mrs. Kreider's room (241 in the English pod) during 5th period.
Tuesday
- Forms due for non-HHS students to attend the dance as a guest. See Homecoming Dance section below.
Thursday
- 4pm - Homecoming Parade in downtown Homewood
Friday -
- 2:20pm - Homecoming Pep Rally in the competition gym, featuring the traditional Senior Mom Dance
- 6:30pm - Homecoming Court will be presented at Waldrop Stadium BEFORE the football game
- 7pm - Homecoming Game vs. Center Point ...GO PATRIOTS!!!
- 8:30-11:30pm - After the Game Party at Trinity United Methodist Church (1400 Oxmoor Rd), co-sponsored by the Safe & Healthy Homewood Coalition. A fun, safe and drug-free opportunity for HHS students to hang out after the Homecoming game. All hands on deck! Here are sign-ups for parent volunteers and food donations.
Saturday
- 7pm-10pm - Homecoming Dance in the HHS competition gym. ***If a student is bringing a guest from another school, he/she needs to pick up a guest permission form to be filled out and signed by both parentsfrom Mrs. Kreider's room (241 in the English pod). The forms are due next Tuesday, September 25.

Youth Leadership Forum - Do you want to make a difference? Be a leader? Change your community? Then it is time to apply to the Youth Leadership Forum(YLF). For over 30 years, YLF has been training young leaders by providing hands-on opportunities to learn about their community and themselves.
- Each year 44 high school sophomores and juniors are selected from all over Jefferson County to participate in YLF.
- See Ms. Brooks in the counseling office for more information or to pick up an application or applications may be obtained from www.ylfbham.org.

ATTEND Oct 1st - Student informational meeting re: graduationcosts during 5th period study, in the Bailey Theater. Balfour will be onsite to discuss caps and gowns, scrapbook, t-shirts, etc.
DUE Oct 5th - Senior Slideshow pictures for the Senior Pep Rally.
- Please email no more than five pictures to hhs-sga@homewood.k12.al.us
- Submit pictures from elementary, middle, and high school of you and other students.
- Only group photographs will be used
- Poor quality pictures, screenshots, snapchat pictures etc. will not be used.
DUE Oct 5th - Senior yearbook ad materials as well as Quotes and Accomplishments forms and information are available in the library, in senior English classrooms, and in the Senior Class course on Schoology. Please contact Mrs. Dameron-Vines with any questions.
